I highly highly recommend this game to anyone that enjoys realistic racing with very high levels of competition. I am still new to the world of computer racing simulators but I don't know if any console game can compete and I never thought I would say that. So basically you have a limitless number of tracks available to choose from which is something you just can't do with a console.

There is the Power & Glory Mod (60's GT cars), the many F1 mods (the best F1 sims available), the DTM series, F3000, and much much more. Once I found some of the mod sites (like nogrip and esports-racing) I was overwhelmed with everything you can do with this game. This is the alternative I found and I actually find the racing much more realistic than GT. I have always been a huge fan of the Gran Turismo series but got tired of continuous delays by Polyphony Digital getting their games out. I bought this game about four months ago and play it now more than ever. This is a must own even for casual racers. I highly recommend this game to anyone even considering a racing game. For a game like this you can't beat the game play, graphics and fantastic audio. I thought it was going to be expensive after trying the demo. I was shocked at how great of a price the game is for 19.99. Most PCs you buy today should be able to run this as my computer is only 2 yrs old and an hp it runs nicely. Check out youtube for videos people have put up if you want to see how it looks. Game play in this is very realistic, I love the details and the ability to modify and tune your vehicle. I picked up both Race 07 and this game and I recommend both games since Race 07 gives you the option of racing in formula 1 vehicles. This is one of the greatest racing sims I have ever tried. When I do eventually try it I will add to the review. I have yet to try the game with the xbox 360 wireless force feedback wheel. You can use the xbox 360 wireless controller to play the game unless you have the Logitech G25 race wheel with the H shift and pedal clutch combo. I have to say that I put my game serial key. GTR 2 has fantastic details to the car and this time around compared to the original GTR you have arms and legs when in cockpit view which adds to the realism of this wonderful simulation. I start the game and click Multiplayer, after an Internet, I have not an account, click on register, I put a username, a password twice and an email, then I click on register, it takes a moment and a message appears: 'Registration Failed: Could not connect to the server'.
